The following reprimands were inserted into Captain Picard’s permanent record for his actions during the mission:
- Revealing his true identity to a native of the 21st century, specifically, Lily Sloane.
- Revealing future events to a native of the 21st century.
- The exposure of an extraterrestrial to natives of the 21st century. Sloane encountered both the Borg and Lt. Commander Worf, a Klingon, while aboard the Enterprise.
The following reprimands were inserted into Commander Riker’s permanent record for his actions during the mission:
- Revealing his true identity to a noted historical figure of the 21st century, specifically, Zefram Cochrane.
- Revealing future events to a native of the 21st century.
- Use of advanced technology in the presence of a native of the 21st century.
- Participating in a historical event, namely, the launch of Earth’s first warp ship.
The following reprimands were inserted into Lt. Commander LaForge’s permanent record for his actions during the mission:
- Use of advanced technology in the presence of a native of the 21st century. The Enterprise crew used 24th century technology to repair the Phoenix.
- Participating in a historical event, namely, the launch of Earth’s first warp ship.
NOTE: By order of the Federation Council, all of the above reprimands were removed from the officers’ records, because the actions were taken to preserve the integrity of the timeline.
The following reprimands were retained in Captain Picard’s permanent record:
- Participating in a historical event. Members of the Enterprise senior staff were present to witness humanity’s First Contact with the Vulcans.
- Use of advanced technology in the presence of a native of the 21st century. Picard ordered a beam-out in the presence of numerous natives who were witnessing First Contact with the Vulcans.
NOTE: On recommendation from DTI Agent Dulmur, the reprimand concerning the crew’s participation in the First Contact was dropped.
